This year at Te Puke High School was probably the best year of my life. Of course there were a lot of ups and downs, but that’s how life is. I had the opportunity to make heaps of new experiences, lots of new people and see this beautiful country called New Zealand. Although the school is quite different from my school in Germany I didn’t have any problems with getting into things. The people were always friendly and helpful and I made heaps of friends. There is not enough space to describe all the awesome things I saw and experienced during my stay at Te Puke High School. I hope other international students who come after me will have a great time like me.

New Zealand is so different to Germany, like the subjects or the performing arts events, for example lip synch and production. It’s so much fun participating in those things and a good opportunity to get to know people. New Zealanders are the friendliest and caring people ever. After 6 months it’s really hard saying goodbye to everyone because I had the most amazing time, but I will always have my memories of all the things I’ve done.

I have been to a lot of countries but New Zealand is the most awesome place that I have been too. Te Puke High School is a great school. The students are friendly. The teachers help me a lot. I learn a lot and practice my English.

Since the very beginning both the teachers and students were very friendly and gave me a warm welcome. For me Te Puke High School is a good school with great environment and school system. They have the newest technology available for each classroom. The teachers are experienced and supportive to the students. Overall I think Te Puke High School is a great school.

I am studying in Te Puke High School for last six months. I like studying here very much and also had many good friends in such a short time. I found the environment here very much interesting and good. The students here are friendly and nice to each other. The teachers here are helpful to us and cooperating with us and helping us to do better in our studies. I found this place clean and tidy and we plays different types of sports and do work outs which is really good for us to remain healthy. And at last I want to thank my ESOL teachers who helped us very much and cooperated with us to increase our achievement standard.
