SPECIAL EDUCATION
The Unit plays an integral role within the School. It caters for ORRS funded 
students with intellectual and physical disabilities. Students are supported by Teacher Aides in a variety of classes at various levels across the school.

Students are supported by Teacher Aides in a variety of classes at various levels across the school.The Unit is a base for the students providing a safe, flexible, imaginative learning environment for students to enhance learning and/ or behaviour. This is achieved through Individual Education Programmes, identified learning outcomes, carefully constructed learning activities, regular monitoring and assessment and communication with staff, parents and professional personnel.
Within the Unit there are opportunities for Literacy, Numeracy and Functional Life Skill Programmes. Other opportunities available are dual enrolment with the Correspondence School and participating in the Regional Special Olympic Sport Day.
