MEMORIAL GARDEN

On Thursday the 20th of August we opened our Garden of Rememberance with a touching ceremony attended by the majority of students and staff. The day of the ceremony was the first anniversary of the passing of our well loved teacher Wayne Abrahams and the fourth anniversary of the death of Peter Harris, a teacher in the Te Awhina special unit. The garden is situated around a towering kauri tree in the inner courtyard and bears 19 markers of staff members and pupils who have died during their time at our school.
