GROOVE 2009
You may remember Infinity from 2008. Well... they’re back! And with two new crews at the High School – Lekonix and In.denzity. On 5 September, we all travelled to the Groove Street Dance Competition in Hamilton. All students did our school proud – they were polite, friendly and extremely well behaved for the entire trip. It was the first competition for In.denzity and Lekonix and they performed very well showing a huge amount of potential for the next few years. Infinity was outstanding, performing to a very high standard. The judges gave some excellent feedback about them and I believe we have an up-andcoming name in national street dance. All three teams were managed and accompanied by Miss Claire O’Fee and our thanks go to Mr Smith who travelled with us for the day.
