Vision

TPHS will provide and maintain an environment that enables Gifted and Talented Learners to grow intellectually, socially and emotionally. This environment will extend and enrich the educational opportunities for Gifted and Talented Learners and provide a learning climate that challenges and supports students to realise and reach their full potential. Our vision is not just to impart knowledge but to develop critical thinking and evaluation in all our students as an important skill for their future and encourage students to be active learners who seek knowledge and take responsibility for their learning. TPHS will foster a climate where exploring the boundaries and making independent decisions encourages students to be confident risk takers and lifelong learners within an emotionally and physically safe environment for all students.
In addition, TPHS will provide co-curricular opportunities in order to foster leadership skills, participation and social awareness. Gifted and Talented Learners will have opportunities to contribute to the running of the school, contribute to the well being, mutual respect and care for others through charity/community work and care for their environment.
